Fedwen Alpaca & Farm Experience Terms & Conditions
Please arrive 10 mins before the scheduled time so the event can start on time. Any late arrivals who miss the health & safety briefing at the start will not be able to participate and your booking will be cancelled with no refund given.
Suitable footwear must be worn, closed trainers or boots, no flip flops or sandals. It may get wet and muddy so please dress accordingly. We have a selection of wellies for you to borrow if necessary. No umbrellas please.
All visitors will be asked to dip their footwear in disinfectant on arrival. All visitors will be asked to wash their hands after interaction with the animals.
Guests must be able to walk up and down grassy inclines on uneven ground, which could be muddy and slippery. The walks are not suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs or walking aids.
Strictly no dogs are allowed on the farm.
Visitors are not allowed to enter the surrounding fields or any farm buildings at any time for safety and security reasons.
All children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No unreasonable behavior will be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave. Only children over 14 can walk an alpaca on their own. Ratio of one child under 8 years per paying adult.
Cancellation due to bad weather is at our discretion, we will only cancel if it is unsafe or dangerous to walk. A full refund will be given or a voucher to use on another date will be available.
No adjustments can be made to the booking on the day. Please allow 48 hours’ notice of any changes. On booking, please let us know of any health issues or limitations that may affect your walk. Walks by prior arrangement only, no walk ins on the day.
We have toilets and hand washing facilities on site. Everyone should wash their hands after interacting with the alpacas and other livestock.
We require 48 hours’ notice if you would like to cancel your trek. Refunds will not be available, but we will be happy to reschedule it for another convenient date. No offer to reschedule if less than 48 hours’ notice is given.
All treks & experiences are considered safe by us, providing you and everyone included in your party follows our advice, guidance and instruction at all times. However, the activity is undertaken at your own risk. If you become unwell at any time, you must inform the leader straight away.
